On Saturday the 17th July 2010, a group of 21 celebrity motorbike riders, including Hollywood actor Morgan freeman, as well as several local celebrities such as Jack Devnarain, Jeremy Mansfield, Lehlohonolo Saint Seseli and Hanna Grobler, checked into Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa after ending a five-day motorcycle rally from Johannesburg to Cape Town, in aid of the 67 minutes of service for Mandela Day.
The joint adventure was organized in aid of spreading the word about Mandela Day – an annual celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life with a global call to action for people to recognize their individual ability to make an imprint and change the world around them.
